McKinley Community Health Alliance works to affect all population groups of McKinley County, New Mexico, as our community goal is to enhance the overall quality of life of all McKinley Community members to live healthy and productive lives by; improving access to services, identifying resources and funding, increasing networking among community agencies and regional partners to prevent duplication of services, and working collaboratively with the community to not only address and understand inequities in systems but also work to change those systems.
Together we will create brave space.
Because there is no such thing as a “safe space” —
We exist in the real world.
We all carry scars and we have all caused wounds.
In this space
We seek to turn down the volume of the outside world,
We amplify voices that fight to be heard elsewhere,
We call each other to more truth and love.
We have the right to start somewhere and continue to grow.
We have the responsibility to examine what we think we know.
We will not be perfect.
This space will not be perfect.
It will not always be what we wish it to be
But
It will be our brave space together,
and
We will work on it side by side.

McKinley Community Health Alliance is a key hub not only within the healthcare community but also across sectors of McKinley County. Fostering and cultivating partnerships is integral to the continued success of the MCHA along with community collaboration.
MCHA is a working partnership of more than 100+ diverse community members and agencies including; advocates, stakeholders, health & human service providers/workers, and other entities throughout the McKinley Community.
These community members & agencies stand by the MCHA and are actively engaged in its collaborative efforts in McKinley County, NM, & beyond.
